Integration Film Academy online

Łukasz Maciejewski

Integration Film Academy is an educational cycle organised by European Film Festival for many years. Its main aim is to present films related to the topic of disability. The screenings are accompanied by a lecture and discussion, the audience are various social groups – students, people with disabilites, seniors.

This year because of the restrictions related to the pandemic organising the cycle live was impossible. Therefore, we are moving Integration Film Academy to the internet. It will be divided into 12 parts. Each Tuesday Łukasz Maciejewski will talk about one film on the Festival's Youtube (https://www.youtube.com/user/IntegracjaTYiJA/featured) and on Facebook. Among the films there will be Polish productions, e.g. 'Life Feels Good' by Maciej Pieprzyca or 'A Cat With a Dog' by Janusz Kondratiuk and foreign films, e.g. 'Maudie' by Aisling Walsh, 'La pazza gioia' by Paolo Virzì. The viewers will also get tips where they can watch the aforementioned films.

These will be twelve fantastic, interesting and informative cinema lessons!

The first meeting on 25th August
