EFF Integration You and Me was invited to Brussels by Marek Plura – the Member of the European Parliament. On 7th December 2016 EFF Integration You and Me presented a festival film review for the fourth time. The audience, including the European Parliament members watched the Chronicle of the 13th EFF Integration You and Me and 4 short films – ‘Without Barriers’ by Szymon Gądek (Poland 2016), ‘Michael’ by Piotr Januszkiewicz (Poland 2015), ‘Bla, bla, bla’ by Alexis Morante (Spain 2015) and ‘Minority Effect’ by Cesar ‘Most’ Perez (USA 2016).
– Disability may touch each of us. – stressed Marek Plura. – Therefore it is important to talk about the issues related to disability openly. The idea of the Festival is to talk about barriers and break them. Krzysztof Głombowicz, a sportsperson, a sport commentator and a friend of EFF Integration You and Me, appeared on behalf of the organizers of the Festival.

During the meeting there were also awarded prizes for the laureates of Krystyna Bochenek’s Lady D. Contest. The awards were handed to:
- painter Sonia Osiecka-Babut (Lady D. 2016 in the art category)
- swimmer Karolina Hamer (Lady D. Silesia 2016 in the sport category)
- archer, ex-MP Małgorzata Olejnik (Lady D. 2016 in the sport category)
- activist Hanna Pasterny (Lady D. 2009 in the social activity category)
- trainer and advisor Agata Spała (Lady D. 2015 in the professional activity category)
- activist Grażyna Trębacz (Lady D. 2016 in the social activity category)
- student supporter Anna Wandzel (Lady D. 2016 in the professional life category)
- incredibly active Marta Zając (Lady D. 2016 in the good start category).
