Integration You and Me nominated to PFI Awards!

We're glad to inform that 12th EFF Integration You and Me has been nominated to this year's edition of Polish Film Institute Awards in national film event category. The awards will be given for the ninth time this year. Since 2008 the awards have been given to people, institutions, organisations for substantial achievements in generalisation and promotion of the Polish cinematography.

I am very glad that we have been nominated to such a prestigious award. This is a capstone of the work and commitment of the whole festival's team and many people and institutions that support us – says Barbara Jaroszyk, the director of EFF Integration You and Me. - There are more and more films concerning the problematicity of disability – clever, interesting, brave. Our Festival is a place where sensitive film makers telling incredible, sometimes difficult but always important stories can meet audience appreciating cinema which stimulates thinking. Therefore, it's satisfactory that the jury of PFI has noticed our project.


PFI awards will be given for the ninth time. Since 2008 the awards have been handed out to people, institutions, organisations for substantial achievements in generalisation and promotion of the Polish cinematography. The categories include, for instance an  international national event, international promotion of the Polish cinema, Polish film distribution, film criticism, film broadcast, an Internet portal or a blog concerning film, a book concerning film topics, education of the young viewer. Among the laureates in a national film event category there have been e.g. Letnia Akademia Filmowa (Summer Film Academy), Festiwal Filmowy w Gdyni (Film Festival in Gdynia) and Ińskie Lato Filmowe (Ińsko Film Summer)

The jury members of the PFI awards are Magdalena Sroka (PFI director, president), Jakub Duszyński, Maciej Gil, Anna Grygiel, Barbara Hollender, Kaja Klimek, Iwona Kurz, PhD, Paweł Łoziński, Ewa Puszczyńska, Tomasz Raczek, Łukasz Ronduda, Adam Trzopek, Magdalena Zimecka.  


The award ceremony of PFI awards will take place during 41st Film Festival in Gdynia (19th-24th September 2016).
