COMPETITION RULES & REGULATIONS
23rd European Film Festival “Integration You and Me”
1.
- The 23rd European Film Festival “Integration You and Me” will take place in Koszalin from 8–12 September 2026.
- The organizers of the Festival are: Koszalin Social and Cultural Association and the Joachim Lelewel Public Library in Koszalin.
2.
The aim of the Festival is to promote the idea of integration through the art of film, addressing issues related to disability in its various aspects.

The following film competitions will be held:
- Feature Film Competition
- Documentary Film Competition
- Amateur Film Competition – films made by people with disabilities or with their significant creative and organizational contribution. Amateur films do not have to concern disability – the subject matter may be arbitrary.
4. Selection
SUBMISSION DEADLINES:
Submissions accepted from 15 January 2026 to 10 May 2026
Films produced in the years 2024–2026
Submitted films must meet the following conditions:
- The film must fit the Festival formula (subject matter related to disability).
- Running time:
a) documentary and feature films – no limit,
b) amateur films – up to 8 minutes. - Medium and format – preferred:
a) DCP format, minimum resolution HD (1920 x 1080), sound level -20 LUFS, TP -4 dBFS,
b) video file (.mp4 or .mov), minimum resolution HD (1920 x 1080), sound level peak -6 dB.

After receiving confirmation of selection for the Festival programme, the applicant is obliged to send promotional materials and a completed entry form (foreign films – electronic dialogue list, poster, film stills in electronic version, director’s dossier, synopsis, trailer).
All additional information is provided by the Festival Office.
- Submitted films will be qualified by a selection committee appointed by the organizers.
- The sender covers the cost of shipping copies.

- Films will be evaluated by a Jury composed of representatives of the film community and people with disabilities from creative and cultural environments.
- The Jury will award honorary statuettes “Butterfly 2026” in the following categories:
a) Best Feature Film
b) Best Documentary Film
c) Best Amateur Film
d) Audience Award – viewers vote for the best film among all films presented during the Festival
e) Youth Jury Award
The organizers reserve the right to award additional prizes.

- The applicant agrees to grant a free license for the use of the film copy for up to five screenings as part of the Festival or for promotional and educational purposes.
- The Festival organizers reserve the right to organize free screenings in towns participating in the project “Small Festivals You and Me” in Poland.
- In the event of cinema closures, the organizers reserve the right to organize free online screenings. The date of such screenings will be agreed in advance with the producer or distributor.
8.
The applicant declares that:
- They are the author and creator of the submitted film, which is original, creative and individual in nature, meeting the requirements of a work under the Copyright and Related Rights Act.
- The applicant holds full and unlimited rights to the work, including copyright and related rights, and these rights are not encumbered or limited by third parties.
- The work is entirely original, does not infringe third-party copyrights, contains no unlawful borrowings, and there are no circumstances that could expose the Festival organizer to liability.
- The applicant declares that the statements made in §8 are true and authorizes the Festival Organizer to use and provide this statement to third parties.

The applicant declares:
“I consent to the processing of my personal data by the Festival organizers for purposes related to the organization of the Festival, in accordance with the Festival regulations, and to making my personal data available to authorized entities. I declare that I have been informed that providing my personal data is voluntary and that I have the right to access and correct my data.”
10.
- The applicant declares and guarantees that all persons appearing in the film whose consent is required have agreed to the use of their image, in particular online and during Festival screenings and accompanying events.
- By submitting the film, the applicant bears full responsibility for its content and any potential infringement of third-party rights.
- Submission of a film to the Festival is equivalent to acceptance of these regulations.
FINAL PROVISIONS
- Films qualified for the competition are made available to the Festival organizers free of charge.
- The Festival Director decides on the admission of a submitted film to Festival screenings.
- The organizers do not provide for an appeal against the decision of the Festival Director.
- In all matters not covered by these Regulations, decisions are made by the organizers represented by the Festival Director.
- Submitting a film to the European Film Festival “Integration You and Me” is tantamount to accepting these Regulations.
